Wondervisor
Accessibility Statement

Our commitment
Wondervisor is built for everyone who guides a student and every student who books time with them. This website and the Wondervisor app are designed to work with keyboards, screen readers and other assistive technology.
Standard we follow
We target WCAG 2.2 Level AA for this website and the Wondervisor app. The ADA Title II requirement for public institutions is WCAG 2.1 AA, and we also reference Section 508 for U.S. education customers.
Conformance status
This website is partially conformant with WCAG 2.2 Level AA: we designed it to meet the standard and checked it ourselves before launch, but it hasn’t had an independent audit yet. We’ll update this section after one.
What we do
Keyboard support
A skip link, every control reachable by keyboard, a visible focus outline, and dialogs such as cookie preferences that close with Esc.
Visual design
Text meets AA contrast and pages reflow down to 320px wide. In the app, each institution’s brand colors are checked automatically and adjusted when they would be hard to read.
Semantic structure
Headings in order, consistent landmarks, labeled form fields, live regions for results that update, and text alternatives for meaningful images.
Motion
Animations stop when your device asks for reduced motion. Nothing flashes, and nothing plays sound on its own.
Known limitations
- The “Your campus, your colors” preview on the home page is a decorative picture of the app and is hidden from screen readers. Choosing a sample campus announces the change instead.
- The home page demos use fictional data and simplified versions of the app’s controls.
- Web fonts come from Google Fonts, a third party we don’t control. If they don’t load, the page falls back to your system fonts.
Automated testing covers only part of WCAG, so please tell us about anything we’ve missed.
Compatibility
Current versions of Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge, with keyboard-only use and common screen readers.
How we assess
A self-assessment: automated checks with axe-core, manual keyboard testing of every page and demo, contrast checks of the color pairs we use, and reflow checks at 320px wide and 200% zoom.
